The Economics of Completing an Order

Our founding white paper on AI-native government supply: why the work around a transaction, not the price of the goods, decides which orders a merchant can serve, and how we intend to change that.

Photographs of the kinds of institutions and goods Applied Commerce intends to serve: utilities, schools, libraries, civic buildings, fleets, logistics, public works, emergency services, plants, and water systems.

A merchant, not a marketplace.

Our customer will buy goods. Our software and agents will help us operate the business: extracting requirements, preparing supplier inquiries, comparing responses, identifying missing terms, and monitoring shipments, while people approve consequential commitments.

We intend to start with a narrow, repeatable purchasing pattern involving goods with verifiable identifiers, legitimate supply routes, manageable shipping, and limited installation or service obligations. Maintenance, facilities, plumbing, and waterworks products are starting candidates.

Applied Commerce is at inception and pre-revenue. We have no verified government awards, completed orders, or supplier contracts yet; those are the results this operating model must earn.
